Rule 23
Benefits for amputation or injury

(1) Even if a child is injured in the course of the establishment's work and does not have to retire from service, if the cause of the injury hinders his ability to grow, such child shall be given a lump-sum financial assistance of up to fifteen thousand rupees, considering the circumstances of the injury.
(2) Additional sick leave with full pay shall not be deducted from any accrued leave of the child for the entire period required to treat the injury as per sub-rule (1).
(3) According to sub-rule (2), such child will receive the treatment expenses from the establishment.
(4) Due to the receipt of treatment expenses in accordance with this rule, it shall not be considered that there is any obstacle in receiving the treatment expenses due to such child in accordance with rule 19 if he becomes ill later.
